A new report from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention shows that the number of Americans with diabetes continues to rise, with over 12% of the adult population estimated to have the disease, and more than a third of those aged 20 and over in the US now thought to have prediabetes. · Deaths: Diabetes remains the 7th leading cause of death in the United States in 2015, with 252,806 death certificates listing diabetes as an underlying or contributing cause of death.

AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE EPIDEMIC IN AMERICA
Autoimmune Diseases – an Epidemic Bigger than Cancer and Heart Disease Combined! It’s an epidemic from which approximately 50 million Americans or 20% of the population, or one in five people, are suffering (according to the National Institute of Health). In comparison, Cancer affects 9 million and Heart Disease, 22 million Americans. Put them together and you still don’t touch autoimmune illness rates in our country.
Between 2000 and 2030, the number of Americans living with chronic disease is predicted to increase by 37%, autoimmune disease is one of the top 10 causes of death for kids aged 1-14 and one of the top 8 causes of death in children and young adults aged 15-24. Cost of Autoimmune Disease: estimated a total US cost of $112 Billion in 2013.
Heart Disease EPIDEMIC The AHA predicts that costs related to the disease will double from $555 billion in 2016 to $1.1 trillion in 2035.That “could bankrupt our nation’s economy and healthcare system,” according to AHA President Steven Houser, PhD.
About 610,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year–that's 1 in every 4 deaths. Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women. More than half of the deaths due to heart disease in 2009 were in men.

An estimated 740,000 Americans die each year from these plagues, many of which could have been avoided simply by making a change in diet and lifestyle.

Summary of the annual financial medical costs of the epidemics plaguing our country are estimated to be:
Medical costs = $994 Billion dollars !
Lost productivity = $1 trillion a year!
We’ve highlighted these specific diseases above because it is believed that all of these diseases are reversable or curable with a change in diet and lifestyle.
What’s causing the problem? Bad diet and bad lifestyle choices.
What’s the solution: Good diet and good Lifestyle choices.
How can we fix the problem? By Knowing the difference between good and bad.
The solution: teaching our countrymen the difference.
Goal: Making the understanding of basic nutrition facts common knowledge.
How can we do that? Simple, by creating a national advertising campaign that will reach all Americans, young and old, via all media outlets. This Great American Health Initiative will create bright, funny and informative commercials that will air everywhere- all the time.
Who will pay for this campaign: Not that simple! But possible! We are looking to the very richest Americans to learn the facts, become compassionate and fund the plan.
Why: because they have the money and they can afford to pay for it. And when the richest Americans pay for something that helps their fellow man become healthier, better and wiser…The rich Americans will first feel good about what they have done and then be glorified for years to come. Their act of grace and benevolence has the potential to change the way we think about rich people and the way we’ll all feel about our country in general.
Why: Because it would change and shift American reality for the better.
Why: Because a gesture of this significance would be life changing and mind blowing. And… Because it’s time.
Time for what: For human beings to raise their level of consciousness. It’s time for a new renaissance, a new awakening, it’s time for a spiritual revival for all of us, and it’s time to take a leap forward toward the understanding that we’re “all one” on this beautiful planet and it’s time to start acting like it.
Details of the Plan:
1. The Goal is to properly fund a massive health campaign that will educate all of America over the next few years. This will be accomplished through old fashioned and cutting-edge advertising.
2. We’re asking the richest 15 people in America to find it in their hearts to care enough to make a difference in millions of individual lives. Let’s make American Healthy again!
3. The funds will go through respected foundations like the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation or another well respected foundation. They will oversee the distribution of the funds…mostly going to top advertising companies in America who will be responsible for making the clever educational ads and distributing the ads nationwide.
The top 15 richest people in America today are the richest people who have ever lived. Their wealth is staggering. Starting with # 15, Steve Ballmer who comes in at $33.6 Billion dollars... and at the top # 1. is Bill Gates with $89 Billion dollars!
And the richest corporations could get involved as well. They have amassed and stock-piled Billions more. For example, Apple now has "saved" $246 Billion dollars, that's a quarter of a Trillion dollars! What good is it doing. It's just sitting there waiting to buy up competitors. Microsoft has $131 Billion sitting around doing what? We think it would be possible for these people and corporations to fund, what we're calling The Great American Health Initiative designed to save millions of American Lives through massive public education. We're going to compete head to head with the fast food industry in terms of advertising. We will make eating "real nutritious food plant-based food" look good and smart and wise and healthy and intelligent. In a few short years, understanding the basics of sound nutrition will become common knowledge in America.
Here is a sample Open Letter we will send to the wealthiest people and corporations in America.
“Our Passion for Health.org is a group of concerned citizens who are trying to solve a very serious health problem in our country. You, the Buffett Billionaires and the mega corporations we’ve targeted, have benefited immensely from starting your companies in this country. You’ve benefited from the fine American Universities you’ve attended (or dropped out of) and you’ve built your businesses and fortunes in a free capitalistic and democratic society. You’ve done very well because of your hard work and focused resolve to provide goods and services to Americans, Americans who have gladly parted with their hard-earned cash to make you all rich. No doubt, it’s been a win - win situation…but now millions of those customers, your fellow Americans, are sick and dying and they don’t really know why. But we know why, and We are humbly asking YOU, the richest and most successful companies and individuals in the history of the world, who have amassed hundreds of $billions in cash, we’re asking you to consider the concept of funding this massive media advertising campaign we’re calling The Great American Health Initiative. It's goal is to teach the basic truth about food and it’s real power to heal and maintain health. WE believe that if you were willing to use a small percentage of your excess money in a big way, a way that changes the world for the better in a very fundamental way…You would be universally praised for your gift shown to your country.What better way to use some of your American profits?
Why would you do this? Because you have the power and cash to do it. Your excess $ Billions could save millions of American lives, both now and in future generations. This is capitalism at its best! In fact, this gift could save the image of capitalism and the image of the ultra-rich in America. In addition to saving lives, your sacrifice and altruistic gesture of grace could be the catalyst that could usher in America’s finest hour, a new"Renaissance" and set the tone for the rest of the 21st century! Your benevolence could be the start of a new world idea…the idea of ”Enlightened Capitalism”. You can make this happen and change the world in a bright and wonderful and healthy way! America awaits your move.
